Seasonal Attractions &
Things to Do
Michigan is a four-season state
with a variety of things to see and do year-round right here in the metro Detroit area. Lush gardens and open-air farmers markets
of Spring get the blood pumping again after a winter's slumber. The weather warms gradually and soon
gives way to golfers on Michigan's 1,000 golf courses
and pleasure boaters on Michigan's 11,000 inland
lakes. Fall arrives with spectacular
colors and the smell of football in the air. Old man winter's blast of cold drives
some indoors, but many others are drawn to outstanding ice skating, skiing,
and snowmobiling. Detroiters love
the change of seasons and you will too!
