Overview
Detroit is annual host to some of the most important
conferences and events in the world, such as the Detroit International Auto
Show and SAE World Congress (see our Annual
Festivals & Events page for more information). And now, with the momentum generated from
hosting some of the largest sporting events in the world -- the 2004 Ryder
Cup at Oakland Hills Country
Club, 2005 Major League All-Star Game at Comerica
Park, 2006 Super Bowl XL at Ford Field,
and 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four -- Detroit is seeking to attract additional
national and international conferences, conventions, and events. Check out the list below for a few already
